Unlike other browsers Firefox is constantly being tested and improved. Here is a list of the release dates for the current version 2 of their browser.
- Fx 2.0.0.2 – RELEASED: February 23rd
- Fx 2.0.0.3 – RELEASED: March 20th
- Fx 2.0.0.4 – RELEASED: May 30th
- Fx 2.0.0.5 – RELEASED: July 16t
- Fx 2.0.0.6 – RELEASED: July 30th
- Fx 2.0.0.7 – RELEASED: September 18th
- Fx 2.0.0.8 - RELEASED: October 18th
- Fx 2.0.0.9 – RELEASED: November 1st
- Fx 2.0.0.10 – RELEASED: November 26th
- Fx 2.0.0.11 – RELEASED: November30th
- Fx 2.0.0.12 – TBA
We now know of course that the release of Fx 2.0.0.12 will occur on Feb 12th.
It makes sense to move over to Firefox when on occasion a problem has been found in a point release they have move straight onto fixing it and getting it out to the people. Check the time between releases .10 and .11 as just one example.
